During my time as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles, I began my journey into the research of human connections. I have over 25 years of experience working in clinical and academic settings, and I began my journey during that time.

One of these experiences was overseeing eight sessions of the Eban I Program, which is an important intervention that aims to reduce sexual risk. Millions of people are challenged to go on a voyage of introspection as a result of this work, which fosters self-reflection on sexuality, identity creation, sexual script, and fulfillment.

A Diverse Career and Holistic Perspective

In addition to my career as a successful author, I am privileged to hold the positions of Associate Professor of Psychology and Faculty Senator at Langston University. In addition to that, I am making a contribution by working as an adjunct professor in the Jackson College of Graduate Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma. I have spent twenty years working in multicultural counseling and teaching, and throughout that time I have had personal conversations about relationships, identity, and satisfaction. These conversations have addressed topics that are frequently considered taboo.
